Great American Broadband (GAB) is creating an integrated Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) company, by consolidating the operations of existing WISPs in rural communities. GAB's ultimate goal is to serve 50,000 or more broadband customers, to achieve a consolidated annual revenue run rate of $21 million in 24 months.

GAB began building its regional footprint in central Indiana and western Nebraska. It is quickly expanding both through WISP acquisition and partnership in the rural counties of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.

Maintaining the loyalty of customers; increasing the customer base and fully meeting the customer's broadband needs is critical to GAB. To achieve this "maintain and grow" objective, GAB will centralize core business support functions and will retain existing management and staff of the acquired WISPs where possible. Capital acquisition and purchasing will also be centralized to heighten efficiencies and economies of operation.
